Shows I've Been Watching The Barchester Chronicles: I watched the first six eps. There’s just one ep left now. The Stanhopes are wonderfully witty. Slope is a nasty piece of work! His battles with Mrs Proudie are hilarious. House: I watched all the eps up to the 6.05 (Brave Heart). I’ve been loving Season 6. There’s more interaction between the characters, something that was lacking in the previous seasons. Mad Men: I’ve finished Season 3. Wow, what a great finale! ( cut for spoilers )Merlin: I’m up to date. I’m afraid I disagree with most of my journal friends about the latest ep, “The Lady of the Lake”, because ( cut for spoilers ) Current Mood: contemplative |

Ficlet: "The Needs of the Revolted" (Sarek/OFC, NC17) Title: The Needs of the RevoltedPairing: Sarek/OFC Rating: NC17 Words: ~800 Warning: dubious consent Summary: The kink meme prompt was for Sarek to get tired of his people talking smack about Amanda and Vulcanishly telling them to stick it. However, as it was on the kink meme, there is sex. A/N: I have fooled with this a bit more (largely for clarity) since posting it over there last night while I was taking a break from the more substantial fic that is currently taunting me. |

Dear My Fingers: I appreciate your industrious hacking away at the (somewhat-past-)due fic, but some of these errors of logic and departures from expectation as you go along are a bit ridiculous. For instance, "building" and "bukkake" (of which there is none expected in this fic) are really quite not at all the same thing, and are not interchangeable. Pls to type what (and only what) the brain says now. Thx, Me. I originally posted this at http://florahart.dreamwidth.org/1005362.html. Rainbow Awards: Cover Competition, Round 4 Hmm, Round 4 started later this week, probably because elisa_rolle is travelling, and I'm a bit late too. But you can still vote for the cover of Clippings (art by korekan, design by morgan_d), here. Thank you, friends ♥ Current Mood: awake |

Yay, Maurício de Souza! A famous comics series in Brazil, "Tina" ("Tina's Pals") will have its first gay character! It's a series for children and teens, so this is wonderful news. His name is Caio. He's the cute boy with dark hair who's talking to the blond guy in the first frame, and who's in the center in the second frame here: Maurício de Souza is the Brazilian cartoonist who created the "Turma da Mônica" ("Monica's Gang"), "Tina's Pals" and many other popular comics. You can read more about him here. Current Mood: happy |

Ahahah I love yuletide. One match, as usual, but two other things I expect I could get up to speed to write, if I panic about the nature of that which I am assigned. Although, uh, I don't think I will. *\o/* Yuletide author: please note I posted my letter a couple days ago; scroll down. Also, it's tagged.
